YDance (Scottish Youth Dance) have selected 14 young dancers from across its different projects to take part in a week-long exchange later this month in Granada, Spain.
The group of dancers, all aged 13 to 19 will work with Cia. Danza Vinculados, a Granada-based dance company for young people with and without disabilities. Dancers will take part in dance workshops, cultural activities and visit places of cultural importance in Granada. The trip is funded by Erasmus +.
Carmen Vilches, Director of Cia. Danza Vinculados said:
“This project is born from the need to create a space that contributes to exchange methodologies and creative experiences of inclusion through dance and to strengthen the bonds between young people and participating organisations.”
