Generation Dance Festival comprises four works (including two world premieres) performed by dancers across generations from throughout Scotland.

This diverse programme of work is a Glasgow exclusive and forms part of Festival 2018, the cultural programme of the Glasgow 2018 European Championships.

The Generation Performance Dance Company performs Letters to My Shadow, choreographed by Anna Kenrick, directed by Philippa Clark and costume design by Kenny Miller.

What is the letter you always wanted to write? This idea has been the catalyst for this poignant, humorous and uplifting work. With a cast of over 50 dancers from all over Scotland spanning ages 14 to 80+, Letters to My Shadow explores how we reflect upon our relationship with others through the act of writing letters.

Scottish Ballet Elders Company perform Faith, choreographed by Lewis Normand.

National Youth Dance Company of Scotland perform Di-ver-gent, choreographed by Anna Kenrick.
