Are you aware of Culture Counts? They are the collective voice of Scotland’s cultural sector, formed in 2011 to advocate for the value and importance of culture to life in Scotland. The group is made up of the major umbrella organisations across Scotland’s arts, screen, heritage and creative industries.
How can you get involved? ‘3 Actions’ is their monthly newsletter where they share three things you can do each month to promote the value of the sector and get involved in cultural campaigns.
Do you have a funding application form to complete or a report to write up? If you are looking for relevant facts, stats and data, Culture Counts have a really useful statistical search tool, called ‘Useful Facts’. This is an index of stats drawn from over 100 recent research papers. You can enter any topic into the search box e.g. dance and health and all the stats relating to that topic will appear.
