Performances for Schools
YDance have created a range of performances for school audiences based on a book or subject matter relevant to young people.
These professional shows can be performed in a school hall or theatre and have the power to transform the space into a new world. These shows can include young people dancing alongside the professional performers after being involved in a workshop before the performance.
We currently have no performances available for schools but past shows have included:
Local Heroes (2014)
A project delivered in partnership with South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture (SLLC) to commemorate the First World War.
Olga the Brolga (2006 & 2007)
A truly exotic tale from down under capturing the magic of the Aboriginal Dreamtime.
Corryvreckan (2007 & 2008)
The story of the third largest whirlpool in the world.
Story of the Blues (2005)
Follow your faithful denims on a worldwide adventure.
