Me and You
Me and You aims to deliver creative and imaginative movement and play sessions to young parents and their children (under 5). The main aim of the project is to encourage bond and attachment between parent and child.
Each session takes the participants on an imaginary journey using props, songs, movement and fun in order to explore the world through little eyes. Parent and child move together to reinforce relationships enhancing key motor skills, supporting movement development and essential skills at these essential early stages.
The sessions are approximately 1 hour long with an average of 45 minutes delivery ending with free time to explore and play thus not only encouraging parent and child relationships, but those between all members of the group – a safe network of support and space to learn.
