Horizons Stirling

Horizons Stirling

Horizons Stirling is our FREE Stirling based inclusive youth dance company for dancers aged 12 to 19, with and without disabilities.

Horizons Stirling is run by YDance in partnership with Macrobert Arts Centre.

Dancers develop their technical dance skills and take part in choreographic workshops and performance opportunities throughout the year.

We will be delivering an Experience/Taster Workshop for young people who would like to try out the class and ask any questions about the Horizons company. We will then hold a Recruitment/Introduction Workshop where we will select 15 young people at the end of the session to form the Horizons Stirling company. The company will meet on a regular basis and work together with a professional and experienced dance teacher over the next year.

To become a member of Horizons Stirling you must:

  • Be aged between 12 and 19
  • Be from, or living in Forth Valley
  • Be able to commit to the Recruitment/Introduction Workshop and all the Meet Up dates.
