ReCharge Programme

The recharge programme offers dance artists in the youth dance sector and teachers in educational dance settings the opportunity to dance together, share, learn and connect with their peers across the country. It ensures the dance leaders and teachers in Scotland can come together to focus on the future and make time for their own development. These days are for emerging and experienced dance artists and teachers and offer a time for developing practice and networking. They are online and in person and are open to people from across the country.

NEXT EVENT!

We want people who work in dance to feel they are part of a network which allows them to grow and feel supported and we are eager to hear what this needs to be across the country.

ReCharge – Youth Dance Network meeting

As part of YDance’s commitment to supporting the youth dance sector and the leaders who work within it, we will be holding an online discussion and reflection session on the 23rd June 130-3pm.

This session is a chance to meet other youth dance leaders from Scotland, share thoughts and ideas and discuss what support looks like for you moving forward out of the pandemic back into in-person delivery.

This session is open to any dance artist who is currently working with young people in their area and communities and wants to develop their network and connections. This safe online space, facilitated by Anna Kenrick, YDance Artistic Director, will be a chance to discuss what we need as practitioners to remain healthy and motivated to run inspirational dance programmes for our young people.

There will be opportunities to speak, listen and recharge!!

We hope to see you there!

REGISTRATION FOR EVENT NOW CLOSED.

In September , the Recharge programme will be holding a similar event for teachers in educational settings to find out their views and needs to help dance in school grow. More info to follow!
