Our funders
YDance is a Regularly Funded Organisation within Creative Scotland’s portfolio and has been supported by a range of other funds, including Scottish Government targeted funds, NHS Health Scotland, Cashback for Communities, and trust funds, including the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, the Leverhulme Trust and the Robertson Trust.
YDance is very grateful to all our funders for their support of our work.
-
YDance receives annual funding from Creative Scotland. However, this covers only a third of our annual costs of over £500,000. Each year, we raise the remainder of the money by applying to trusts and foundations, lotteries and donations from commercial sources, individuals and friends.
By making a donation, you can help to ensure that we can provide free or affordable dance opportunities so that around 6,000 children and young people a year can have the chance to experience dance and gain some of the real benefits of taking part. With your help, they can learn new skills, become more physically active and grow in confidence and motivation.
-
Sign up to make a donation annually, and you will become one of our Individual Givers. As an Individual Giver, you will be invited to our two public performances, Destinations and Project Y, and your name will be included in the programme.
Please sign up at CAF Donate.
