Beyond Horizons Community Programme
The community strand of the project will provide excellent opportunities in dance via weekly dance groups in North and South Lanarkshire starting in January 2026.
YDance has a long and successful history of working in a diverse range of participatory settings to deliver high quality inclusive and creative dance sessions.
YDance are working in partnership with Active Schools in North and South Lanarkshire to deliver the project. The project will involve participants attending weekly dance sessions in their local community to learn a variety of dance styles and new ways of moving and get the opportunity to create their own movement, working independently and with their peers. They will be taught by expert dance artists to develop their dance skills, be creative, meet new friends and have fun!
