Meet Colin
Personally, it opened my eyes to a new form of performance art and actually the 2009 Project helped with my university dissertation! Professionally and creatively it gave me a platform which allowed me to go on and study dance to HNC level a couple of years later and because of that I was able to get more opportunities thanks to the fundamentals that Project Y instilled in me.
A connection I made and kept from my time in Project Y is with my friend Keith from Aberdeen.
Participating in Project Y led me to study Dance at college and gave me so many opportunities I wouldn’t have been able to engage with otherwise. I may not be dancing as intensely or as often anymore, but a lot of the lessons I learned from Project Y are still with me.
