In 2019, Project Y was a really big deal for me. It’s something I had seen myself being part of for a long time and it felt like a massive stepping stone in my dance journey. I’m sure I didn’t realise back then, but it was a huge confidence building experience for myself and the exposure I was able to get when working with new dancers and choreographers had a really positive impact on my life going forward from that point - both in the dance world and outside of it.

There were so many memorable moment., I enjoyed the whole experience but I really loved the tour. I also loved working with our costume designers at the time, I learnt a lot of tricks from them that I still use to this day!

Whenever I pass the Lemon Tree I always get reminded of the group photo we took at the front door when we first arrived. Feels like a little bit of foreshadowing as to where I was meant to be! And as I previously mentioned, it played a massive part in building my confidence and developing myself as an individual.
