What are YDance Awards and Accreditations?

YDance can deliver several awards and qualifications through dance at various levels that are appropriate for different ages and abilities. These can be delivered flexibly to engage young people during holiday periods, curriculum time or as an extra-curricular activity.   

Currently, we deliver : 

• Award in Dance Leadership (accredited by Leadership Skills Foundation) 

Learn all about leadership through dance. Identify the skills and behaviours needed to be a successful Dance Leader and learn how to develop your own. Take part in a variety of different dance sessions and learn how to plan and deliver your own dance activities. 

• SQA Personal Achievement Award (Bronze) – Performing Arts 

Take part in fun dance activities and work with your tutor and friends to create your own moves.
