Welcome to Beyond Horizons

Beyond Horizons is a new national dance programme for young people with lived experience of a learning disability aged 12-25.

The aim of this exciting, new initiative is to build a more inclusive society where young disabled dancers have access to the same artistic, developmental, and employment opportunities as their non-disabled peers.

Building on the success of Horizons in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness, the programme creates high-quality participatory and leadership pathways, enabling progression from community participation to professional employment in the dance sector. 

Funded through the Learning Disability Support Fund, Beyond Horizons directly supports national priorities on inclusion, health, and social connection.
